Harald Blåtand

Podcast

For our Audio Narration & Project Management exam at Sonic College, we were divided into groups and tasked with contacting an organisation and creating a 20 minute podcast of value to them.

Our group collaborated with the viking museum Kongernes Jelling to produce a podcast addressing the story and rumors of Harald Blåtand, the danish viking king attributed with uniting the country and its transition to Christianity. We aimed to use extensive sound design, in conjunction with storytelling, narration, and music to fully immerse the listener in the story’s various environments.

My main areas of responsibility for this project were sound design and editing the full arrangement to set a good pace and tempo for the listener. I also recorded several of the sound effects with a ZOOM H5, and did audio engineering and recording of the voiceovers and interviews.
